Graduation is such an important milestone for graduands and their families. The completion of the Course is a great personal accomplishment. Graduands, I acknowledge the great work you have done, we honour you with warm congratulations. Each one of you was able to complete the Course successfully through your own sustained hard work. Your courage and perseverance enabled you to face and overcome challenges of the Course.
I acknowledge that you had to develop certain qualities of character and mind to achieve this. You are now empowered to seek new opportunities and with confidence that you can effectively contribute as a facilitator of learning. However, I would like you to note that big and significant achievements are usually not made by individuals on their own but are made by people working together as a team. Each one of you should invest on developing interpersonal skills and strong networks.
Graduands, we have endeavored to bring you on a journey of experiences, which will enable you to be agents of change in your communities. Today, we all celebrate with you, but there is more to do and today marks a new beginning of lifelong learning. I challenge you to give first priority to your professional development. I call upon each of you to go out there as one of our valued ambassadors and with our best wishes live as highly professional teachers.
